(This is a re-post from my LinkedIn page in 2019.)
DDD Trek Part 8: I promised a final 8th part – here it is. This was reserved for those asking “Great, I know basically how to model, map, and think about language, context, aggregates, entities, etc. But, how do I know whhhaaat to model?”
So you’ll recall various authors on the trek like Steven A. Lowe and Mirko Sertic pointing toward leading the business to narrow down the language of the business into various bounded contexts and further to aggregates.
Enter: Event Storming I am personally just learning about this topic (thus the delay). First blush is that the simplicity provides power and speed… and it is amazing.

This may be the last post on the DDD Trek for a long while. If you read all eight posts (and watched the sidebar) and start a real DDD journey or have one to share from the past, I look forward to hearing about the successes and struggles.
Enjoy!
